The Hear the World Foundation and the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich partner to raise awareness for hearing and hearing loss during the open day of the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich.
The Tonhalle-Orchestra opened its doors on September 13th welcoming everybody, who wanted to take a look behind the scenes and discover and experience music in a new way.
The Hear the World Foundation was happy to raise awareness and further sensitize visitors about the importance of hearing and the consequences of hearing loss. By listening to a hearing loss simulation of Anton Bruckner’s Symphony Nr. 4 played by the Tonhalle-Orchestra Zurich, visitors of the open day could experience firsthand what classical music sounds like for people with hearing loss. In addition they got the opportunity to have their picture taken in the Hear the World pose for conscious hearing and get a free hearing test.
